My Week of Goals: 4 Fitness Goals For the Year

I can’t believe it’s already more than halfway through February. This year is flying. Today I thought I would set out my fitness goals for the year.

Goal #1: Pull Up! I got this pull up bar from Amazon months ago and used it a few times but I want to use it consistently until I can finally do a pull up. I’m making progress slowly but surely.

Goal #2: Handstand! Okay, this one I’ve been working on a few times a week and I’m getting closer and closer to being able to kick up into a handstand. I think the main thing that is holding me back is my fear of falling. I know it’s a given that I will fall at some point so I need to just get over that fear.

Goal #3: Frog Stand Pose! My third goal at the beginning of the year was actually to be able to do the middle splits but I’ve already reached that goal (woohoo!) so I decided to make a new goal. This one is probably going to take all year as it requires a LOT of upper body strength.

Goal #4: Leg Hold! I watched the show Cheer on Netflix and got super inspired by how strong and flexible the Navarro Cheerleaders are. It will most likely take all year before I can do a leg hold but that’s okay.
